At Prakruthi Protein Foods, our hatchery operations play a critical role in maintaining a consistent, healthy, and high-performing livestock supply. With the capacity to hatch up to 2,00,000 eggs per week, we ensure a robust and reliable flow of chicks to meet our production needs. Although we do not operate a hatchery of our own, we manage leased hatchery equipment in collaboration with renowned, hygienic hatcheries across the region.
Our process begins with high-quality broiler breeder eggs, carefully sourced from select breeder farms. These eggs are transferred to advanced incubators where they undergo a controlled incubation cycle. Over the course of 21 days, the eggs are carefully monitored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions to ensure healthy embryonic development.
On the 21st day, the chicks are hatched and swiftly transported to our own farms under strict biosecurity and hygiene protocols. This rapid and sterile handling process is key to protecting the young chicks from infections and ensuring high survival and growth rates. Every step, from incubation to transport, is managed by trained personnel adhering to international poultry welfare standards.
